Middle/Senior Java Developer

We are looking for kick-ass java developer to join our elite development team building next-generation platform for US insurance industry. We are building an exciting cloud-deployed java-based platform from scratch. You will have a chance to work with cutting edge technologies on AWS cloud such as EC2, RDS, CloudFront, S3, EMR. Our IT headquarters are in New York. The main development team is working remotely from Russia. We are looking for java developers who are living within +/-4 hour from Moscow time zone. You will work from home or any other place you like. This is a full-time job. Requirements: - you have to know core java really well. - you have to be able to communicate in English. - most critical: you have to be smart and be able to learn any of the things you don't know Additional things that are nice to have, but are not absolutely required: - experience working with web frameworks like Spring, Grails, GWT etc. - experience with javascript and JS frameworks such as Angular.js, JQuery - experience with relational databases MySQL, Postgres - experience with NoSQL solutions such as Cassandra, AWS DynamoDB, Mongo, Redis etc - experience with distributed caching like memchached, Coherence, Infinispan etc - experience with Linux command line - deep understanding of JVM internals - difference between GC strategies, NIO etc - experience with containers (Tomcat, weblogic, jetty) and web servers (Apache, Nginx) - public commits on github (specify your github id on resume) Your resume can be in English or Russian.
