EPAM, web-based viewing, creating, and publishing tool for 3D models
- A part of a big distributed team consisted of 2 streams, verbal and writing communication with devs, PMs and QA team. - Functional web testing (web browsers compatibility, Responsive design, Chrome dev tools). - Creation of test data, tips and Q&A storage, guides for the team in Google doc and Confluence. - Requirement gathering and analysis, working with unstable, ever-changing requirements.
EPAM, Mobile app for capturing and sharing game moments
- Was part of the team who built the testing process from scratch - analyzed competitors, selected devices for testing, created test plan and test strategies. I created test strategy for on of the main product features, created risk plan for it. - Learnt and used mobile testing peculiarities: OSs specifics, design guides, mobile specific tests (UI, network interruption, system interruption). Performed mobile app installation testing (from different stores). Was working on mobile accessibility testing (AA level) - define color contrast, tested app with different font sizes, OSs specific accessibility features and screen readers (Talkback and Voiceover). Used ADB and Android studio for collecting logs, Charles for throttling and monitoring network calls, Browser Stack for virtual devices, App Center and TestFlight for build distribution. Followed STLC phases as usual. Created test cases and combining them into test suits (I used TestRail tool), provided testing metrics (Overall number of defects by priority and status, Created vs Resolved trend chart, different types of pie charts) and analyze them, suggest improvements for project processes. - Testing complex logical flow - different log in options and app integration with games. Experience in working with consoles (Xbox, Nintendo, Playstation) also with games on PC. Participating in Playtests. - Project documentation creation and updating, using Notion tool for documentation storage. - Performed localization testing (for both LTR and RTL interfaces). - Monitor live users reports and crashes using Instabug, Firebase and Sentry tools. - Working with Analytics: tested that needed statistics is gotten based on events and then chose app areas for more attention from the QA side and UX which can be improved.
EPAM, Mobile app for group video chatting, playing games and games streaming
- Manual testing of mobile (both IOS and Android) and web apps. Testing types: Installation, Functional, Usability, Localization, Compatibility, UI testing. Following STLC phases. - Testing of integrated games - Heads Up, Trivia, Quick Draw, Uno, Karaoke (both scenario-based and strategy based exploratory testing). - Perform root cause analysis (also to find out on which side/product issue appeared); - Reviewing live users' reports using Instabug tool. Providing results reports, metrics, statistics on bugged app areas and suggested improvements. - Created onboarding guides and mentored newcomers.
