Nikolay has 25+ years of experience designing and building world- class technology products. He was CIO / CTO of Finance area at Sber, one of the largest financial institutions in Europe. His responsibilities at Sber were extensive. He lead a team of 1’500+ IT professionals, managed a multimillion USD budget and conducted tech transformation of Finance Area at Sber. Under his leadership Agile methodology was applied in software development. In 2021-2022 under Nikolay’s leadership General Ledger and Accounting Engine (core modules of new bank’s platform) were created and implemented. A product SberProcessMining was created to analyze business processes based on their digital footprints, which ensured their optimization at the system level and a significant economic effect. Sber was connected to the tax monitoring system - online access for tax officials to banking transactions and reporting based them. In 2019 the IFRS 9 project, managed by Nikolay, won a Silver Award of IPMA Global Project Excellence Award 2019 in the Large-Sized project and as well as first prize in the Russian project management competition "Project Olympus". Previously under the management of Nikolay were successfully completed in Sber: * implementation of SAP HCM, SAP RE, SAP FI, etc. for the entire structure of Sberbank (250 thousand employees, 18,000+ branches) - projects received "SAP Quality Awards" in the "business transformation" category; * Creation of IT infrastructure for the Tomilino Archival and Logistics Center; * Creation of an electronic document management system; * Centralization and unification of accounting and regulatory reporting based on centralized IT tools. Nikolay's merits in the implementation of these and other projects were awarded with certificates of honor and the badge "Excellence in Sber". Nikolay graduated from the Bryansk State Technical University with a degree in Dynamics and Strength of Machines. He started his career at R-Style Softlab, working on the development of the automated banking system RS-Bank. Nikolay worked his way up to the position of Technical Director responsible for localization and implementation in Russia and the CIS countries the bank’s system Thaler of Callatay & Wouters company.
