● In Dr. Michael Talkowski Lab, researched computational biology and genomics methods development teams to establish new approaches to the discovery of copy number variants from exome and genome sequencing in large-scale human disease consortia, international biobanks, and the genome aggregation database (gnomAD) program.

● Exposed to both the research administrative oversight at an academic safety-net hospital and incorporating new medical practices in a post-COVID world. Collaborate with the Director, Clinical Trial Office to develop a robust research re-start program. ● In Dr. Leo Cheng’s Molecular Pathology lab, worked on a project used for cancer research. Used High Resolution Magic Angle Spinning (HRMAS) Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) to examine metabolites in tissue to develop different cancer diagnostic and prognosis methods. ● Gave oral presentation on research titled “Determining Quality Control Percentage of 9 Different USDA Grains in a Mixture with Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy”.
