● Backend engineering on the Drive Merchant Services team, building products for our largest Drive customers leveraging Kotlin, Python, Cadence, Postgres, CRDB, Kafka, Kubernetes, Arrow, Protobuf, etc. in a rapidly growing, large scale engineering effort with the mission of creating new services for Merchants. ● Design and implementation of hierarchical refund rules microservice processor between merchants, customers and dashers for Drive (DoorDash Delivery as a Service) handling millions of orders per month. ● Large scale backend migration from Django to Kotlin microservice using BFF architecture for order tracking data consumed by DoorDash, merchants and customers clients using Drive.

● Reduced failed payment rate by more than 40% using A/B testing and SCA, billing address checks, holds on trials and CVC verification, capturing at least an additional $47,700 per month. ● Increased uptime from 97% to 99.9999% with broader testing, improved deployment procedures and infrastructure migration. ● Designed and built CI/CD pipelines still used to deploy to AWS and onsite infrastructures.

● Architected, designed, implemented, and deployed demos and alpha versions of the Evimed platform. ● Led business development to generate leads and prioritize project requirements.

● Worked on the back end in mission-critical projects like lead generation/marketing tools. ● Engineered the consumer facing ZipQuote Lead Marketplace. ● Created integrations for Fortune 500 clients requiring strict data schemas & security measures, like State Farm, Google Ads, and Workforce Singapore. ● Accelerated ad deployment time from 38min to 4min for 15K ads by optimizing creatives.

● Developed an integrated retail solution encompassing point of sale, inventory tracking, and business intelligence tools for a global logistics company focused on wholesale electronics. ● Tracked over $5M sales with the solution, leading to it being voted company-wide the most important change in business operations in the last 5 years. ● Automated 2 full time positions, revamped inventory accuracy and linked sales to associates by designing, building and deploying a POS system and inventory management solution. ● Delivered 45K+ tablets in 3 variants to market early by negotiating multiple software and licensing deals (Bluetooth, USB-IF, USPTO) and managing design deliverables to production.
