● Petscreening is a platform which provides different functionality related to pets. ● It allows property owners to permit pets based on complicated scoring system. ● Besides main functionality it also provides services for: searching lost pets, CRM for vet clinics, etc. ● Integrated tax systems of Avalara and Stripe, shifting the responsibility of paying taxes from PetScreening to pet owners, which increased client revenues. ● Integrated multiple insurance services, which gave us the opportunity to earn a percentage of the insurances sales. ● Refactored several services, optimized endpoints with large amounts of data with Redis and Rails Cache. ● Refactored legacy code, improved it and fixed lots of bugs related to it.

● Joined the project from the very beginning, worked in team consists of team-lead and designer. Some of my responsibilities were: ● Setting up the project: adding essential gems, configuring CI/CD in Gitlab. ● Implementing Docker (Dockerfile, Docker compose). ● Implementation of the core business logic. ● Authentication system using Devise and Google OAuth, complete with personalized authentication pages. ● Integrated various templates with Bootstrap, CSS and JavaScript.
