• Integrated 3D object detection into existing perception pipeline for improved driving quality. • Created an abstraction layer to enable hardware-agnostic logic between high-level stack and electronics level code. • Developed a safety feature in C++ that prevented vehicles from driving off course, improving safety for passengers. • Optimized multi-LiDAR configuration to eliminate phantom objects caused by interferences.
