Our engineering team is currently 100% remote with engineers located in Russia, CIS, Europe, India, Canada, US and other countries. We are looking for top talent - join us in disrupting the $100 billion home services market! Overview of the Role - You will play a critical role in growing our global Engineering team. Our Engineers are world-class and we’re looking for a world-class recruiter to help us double Engineering in size. You’ll report to our Global Recruitment Lead and work in close collaboration with Engineering, Product and Leadership team, including CEO, Engineering Director and Product Director. - You will be responsible for ensuring that we hire top quality talent. You will build a deep pipeline of potential candidates. You will run the recruitment process from start to finish, including working with management to define required skill sets, screening candidates, coordinating interviews and closing offers. - This is a high impact role so be ready to deliver results and take our recruiting to the next level! Responsibilities include: - Collaborate with hiring managers to anticipate and meet staffing needs, ensure quality of selection and timeliness of hire - Collaborate with hiring managers to create job descriptions, when appropriate, by understanding required skills and background, the impact of the role, and the ideal fit to the team and company - Build and maintain a quality pipeline of candidates through posting on job boards and direct outreach to candidates - Establish and own relationships with groups, and developer communities - Assess technical/IT candidates' hard and soft skills through a combination of behavioral based interviews and competency-based evaluations - Advise client hiring managers by applying knowledge of their organization and expertise of labor markets to staffing decisions - Identify closing strategies for offers and proactively provide candidates with the right information to help make their decision as easy as possible Desired Skills and Experience: Must have - 3-7 years recruiting experience in-house or at an agency, preferably including start-up experience. Must have metrics to demonstrate your success - Perfect written and spoken English - Able to work remotely and be available during 9AM-12PM PST (California time) - Experience recruiting remotely and closing deals over email and skype - Direct sourcing experience with a demonstrated ability to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for a variety of positions at different levels of the organization - Knowledge of technical jargon and skill sets, as well as an understanding of how software is built and maintained - Strong interpersonal skills and extensive experience conducting interviews.
