We are looking for experienced 3D Character Artists to support a large-scale character creation program for a leading semiconductor client. The target is photorealistic, next-generation quality, not standard game-level quality. Please let us know whether you have suitable candidates available, or whether you can field a studio team.

Scope of work
- Create a wide variety of photorealistic 3D human characters, mainly in Reallusion Character Creator
- Set up characters from specific descriptions, prioritizing technical accuracy of model and materials over stylistic choices
- Build character morphs, poses, and clothing
- Export characters and set up materials in the target engine
- Adapt and improve existing assets, balancing real-time performance against cinematic quality
Mandatory skills
- Character Creator, Unreal Engine, Blender (Cycles), Substance
- Ability to create a photorealistic human from scratch in Character Creator or a professional sculpting tool such as ZBrush
- 3+ years building content for Unreal Engine or another modern game engine, with solid PBR, material composition, and optimization knowledge
- Experience building and texturing both game-ready and cinematic characters, including procedural approaches where appropriate
- Strong character material skills: skin, cloth, and hair shading, SSS and translucency maps, wrinkle maps
- Facial expression and pose setup
- Hair system rebuilds (e.g., card-based to curve-based)
Nice to have
- Animation experience
- MaterialX and OpenPBR
- UE5 Substrate
- Layered BSDF shading workflows
Portfolio (mandatory)
Please include portfolio links (e.g., ArtStation) showing high-quality photorealistic current/next-gen characters, ideally with breakdowns of:
- Materials and shading
- Rigging and driven systems
- Facial morphs
- Hair systems
Candidates without portfolio evidence of photoreal quality cannot be considered.
