Java Backend Developer

Looking for a Java Backend Developer for our client. Key qualifications: - Minimum 4 years of experience in development and a good degree as Bachelor or Master in IT or comparable technical degree; - Strong working knowledge of OOP and software design principles; - Proficient in Java 8 (or higher); - Proficient in Spring/SpringBoot, Hibernate and SQL; - Solid knowledge of software testing standards (JUnit, TestNG); - User experience in a Unix/Linux environment; - DevOps mentality - You Build It You Run It. Nice to have: - Familiar with tools like Docker and/or Kubernetes; - Experience with message brokers or streaming platforms (e.g. Kafka); - Experience with cloud and application platforms (e.g. AWS); - Experience working in split teams. Project start: ASAP Project duration: 6 months, with option for extension.
