Company that provides AI/ML solutions for the clients in the life sciences domain is in search of experienced ML Engineer, located in the Canada, USA or Mexico.
About the Role:
We're seeking a passionate and experienced ML Engineer to join our team. You'll be working directly with clients, designing and deploying custom ML solutions using cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Understand client business needs and advise on AI/ML solutions
- Architect end-to-end ML systems, including data acquisition, preprocessing, model selection, and deployment
- Develop scalable and reliable ML systems handling large datasets and real-time processing
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts
- Stay current with AI/ML advancements and identify innovative applications
- Conduct research and experimentation on new ML algorithms and frameworks
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in ML Engineering or Data Science
- Expert in Python programming and data science frameworks
- Familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, Keras) and libraries (NumPy, scikit-learn)
- Experience with LLM agents, RAG solutions, and code interpreters
- Experience with LLM fine tuning
- Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals
- Experience with transformer-based language models
- Hands-on experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to mentor team members
Nice to Have:
- Experience with complex multi-model and multi-modal ML applications
- Solid foundation in data analytics systems development
- Experience with AWS, Airflow, MLFlow, H2O, Jupyter Notebook, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Spark
- Expertise in continuous training automation, computer vision, natural language processing
- Experience with model tuning using CUDA/OpenCV, C++, Python
- Publications in deep learning, distributed computing, or life sciences
- Domain knowledge of biology and/or chemistry
