Senior RE Engineer | Vulnerability Research

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough reverse engineering of mobile and web applications to decode their internal APIs and authentication mechanisms.

- Utilize advanced dynamic and static analysis tools including Frida, Ghidra, IDA Pro, and Jadx to decipher application functionality.

- Consistently develop and ship user-facing features that transform technical insights into practical tools.

- Read, write, and review comprehensive design documentation for both product features and architectural changes.

- Implement secure authentication workflows based on reverse-engineered processes from target applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate discovered APIs and functionalities into our platform.

- Stay abreast of cutting-edge application security techniques and reverse engineering methodologies.

- Develop scalable solutions accommodating multiple gig economy platforms simultaneously.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of professional experience in software development with at least 3 years focused on reverse engineering.

- Demonstrated expertise in reverse engineering mobile applications (Android and iOS) and web-based systems.

- Strong proficiency with dynamic and static analysis tools (Frida 16.0+, Ghidra 10.3+, IDA Pro 8.0+, Jadx, etc.).

- Experience with deobfuscating code and comprehending compiled applications.

- Proven ability to document and communicate complex technical findings clearly and concisely.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

- Track record of building features based on insights gained through reverse engineering.

- Comprehensive knowledge of modern authentication methods and security protocols.

Nice To Have

- Experience with TypeScript 5.0+ and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).

- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud infrastructure services.

- Previous work on projects related to the gig economy or financial technology sector.

- Understanding of payment processing systems and related APIs.

- Experience with data integration from multiple disparate sources.

- Background in cybersecurity or application security testing.
