Japan’s leading IT engineer supply and support services company is in search of IT Infrastructure Engineer with Japanese and English.


Project Examples:

  • Operation and monitoring for a major automobile manufacturer (70-person team)
  • Virtualization system implementation project
  • Cloud infrastructure/network design and construction for verification
  • System improvement (automation, etc.)
  • Design, construction, and operation of virtualization infrastructure using VMware ESX
  • FW configuration/management of FortiGate, etc.
  • Network design, construction and operation including SDN
  • Alarm monitoring using Zabbix, etc.


The specific projects to be assigned have not been determined yet, and they will be decided on the engineer's skills upon joining the company. However, having proficiency in Japanese allows engineers to potentially work on entry-level projects even with limited engineering experience. Conversely, if an engineer has extensive experience, such as in network or server design and construction, there is a possibility of being hired even if their Japanese proficiency is not at a business level.


Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of working experience as an infrastructure engineer
  • Business level or above in both Japanese and English. (You must have a desire to work in Japan and be willing to study Japanese).
  • You must have some kind of certification related to IT infrastructure as a plus.


Technical stack:

  • Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
  • Networking knowledge including TCP/IP,routing, and switching.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Security fundamentals including firewalls, encryption, and access control.
  • Proficiency with monitoring and troubleshooting tools like Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, and ELK stack.
  • Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Scripting and automation skills using tools like PowerShells and Python.

Holidays:

Location: Tokyo metropolitan area, Osaka, Nagoya.

Salary: Monthly salary + various allowances + overtime paid separately + incentive bonus (twice a year).
