Japan’s leading IT engineer supply and support services company is in search of IT Infrastructure Engineer with Japanese and English.


・User support;

・Network and server operation and maintenance;

・Help desk operation.


Format: Full-time, long-term contract.

Relocation: Assistance with relocation for candidates currently living overseas. Visa sponsorship, a flat moving allowance of 100,000 yen, and airfare to Japan with a cap. Also possible to use a dormitory for a monthly fee of 35,000 yen.


The specific projects to be assigned have not been determined yet, and they will be decided on the engineer's skills upon joining the company.


Project Examples:

  • On-site IT equipment (PC and peripherals) support;
  • Conference room equipment port and conference support;
  • Answering IT related questions from users who contacted the dedicated reception desk;
  • General network equipment construction (moving, replacing) and operation;
  • Network creation, maintenance and management related to opening/closing of overseas branches;
  • Firmware configuration/management for FortiGate and other devices;
  • Alarm monitoring from Zabbix and others.


Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of working experience as an Infrastructure engineer
  • Business level or above in both Japanese (N2 minimum) and English.
  • You must have some kind of certification related to IT infrastructure as a plus.


Technical stack:

  • Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
  • Networking knowledge including TCP/IP,routing, and switching.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Security fundamentals including firewalls, encryption, and access control.
  • Proficiency with monitoring and troubleshooting tools like Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, and ELK stack.
  • Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Scripting and automation skills using tools like PowerShells and Python.

Holidays:

Salary: Monthly salary + various allowances + overtime paid separately + incentive bonus (twice a year).
