Principal Mobile Test Architect - Banking Apps & CI/CD Integration

You'll be working with a premier commercial digital-only bank that has revolutionized the financial industry through their innovative approach to remote banking. Their mobile applications serve as the primary touchpoint for customers, handling everything from basic account management to sophisticated financial operations. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of this cutting-edge financial platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for Android and iOS banking applications, ensuring thorough coverage across multiple devices and OS versions.

- Perform meticulous functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify potential issues before they reach production environments.

- Document and track defects using JIRA and Confluence with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.

- Analyze test results through Allure (or similar tools) to provide actionable insights on application quality and stability.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Validate API responses and verify backend integrations using Postman, curl, and other network utilities.

- Execute database validation through SQL queries to ensure data integrity across systems.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies.

- Collaborate closely with development teams to resolve issues efficiently and maintain high-quality standards.

- Perform specialized testing, including usability assessment and performance evaluation.

Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in mobile application testing for both Android and iOS platforms.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices in a mobile environment.

- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools including JIRA, Confluence, and Allure (or equivalent systems).

- Solid knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and experience working with JSON/XML data formats.

- Practical experience with API testing using tools like Postman, curl, or similar utilities.

- Basic SQL knowledge sufficient for data validation and verification queries.

- Experience with mobile test automation frameworks, preferably using Kotlin/Java for Android or Swift for iOS.

- Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and quality.

- Strong communication abilities and experience working effectively in remote team environments.

- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities independently while contributing to team objectives.
