SAP EWM Architect - S/4HANA & Warehouse Automation
We're seeking an exceptional SAP EWM Architect and Lead Consultant to join our global technology team. In this fully remote position, you'll leverage your expertise to design innovative warehouse management solutions, optimize complex supply chain processes, and lead implementation projects for enterprise clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of warehouse business processes and develop strategic optimization recommendations aligned with industry best practices and client objectives.
- Design and architect sophisticated SAP EWM solutions that address complex business requirements while enhancing operational efficiency and throughput capabilities.
- Develop detailed functional specifications for SAP EWM implementations, ensuring thorough documentation of system requirements, configurations, and customizations.
- Execute rigorous testing protocols across various warehouse scenarios to validate system functionality, performance, and integration points.
- Oversee the commissioning process from development through to production, ensuring seamless transition and minimal operational disruption.
- Integrate SAP EWM with S/4HANA, ERP Central Component (ECC), and other enterprise systems to create cohesive, end-to-end supply chain solutions.
- Provide occasional technical support to resolve complex SAP EWM issues, ensuring continuous system performance and stability.
- Lead knowledge transfer sessions with clients and internal teams to enhance understanding of implemented solutions and promote self-sufficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align warehouse management strategies with broader supply chain objectives and business goals.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience implementing and developing SAP EWM solutions across diverse industry environments.
- Demonstrated success in multiple SAP EWM implementation projects, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-implementation support.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP EWM 9.5 and above, including familiarity with the latest features in EWM 2023 release.
- Proficiency in both decentralized and embedded EWM deployment scenarios within various SAP landscapes.
- Strong understanding of core warehouse processes including goods receipt, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
- Experience configuring Resource Management, Labor Management, and Slotting capabilities within SAP EWM.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications for EWM and mobile solutions in warehouse environments.
- Knowledge of Material Flow System (MFS) configuration and integration with automated warehouse equipment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with aptitude for translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Independence and self-motivation with a proven ability to manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
