UX/UI Designer

About Company: A German brand that holds leading positions in both industrial and consumer businesses.

Tasks:

1) Affiliation of scalable and responsive cloud-based Web application using state-of-the-art frontend engineering practices by:

• Designing a technical concept, coding, testing and documentation according to the backlog item based on AngularJS and TypeScript
• Developing and implementing test scenarios with Cypress
• Translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual code, by developing web user interface components and related tests
• Designing and testing of APIs
• Developing CI/CD build pipelines for the developed web components and takes actions to keep code/systems stable and efficient
• Testing including unit and integration tests, in case of identified bugs or issues the task is to rework it from step 1. The documentation will be done in Azure DevOps / ServiceNow.

2) Identify, design, and implement product improvements for the project related tasks according to the discussed backlog.

3) Documentation of technical implementation and related processes in Azure DevOps.

English level from B2 is required.

The company provides high quality LiDAR products for people’s safety, physical security in different directions.

The objective is to combine our sensor coverage tool into a new application and evaluate whether that should be browser based or remain standalone.

- The sensor coverage helps plan the layout of a site. It is currently Python and not very refined as it was originally just an internal tool.

- There's is an alignment and sensor discovery, troubleshooting tool. It is C++/Qt. It does its job pretty well but has some limitations at scale and needs refinement for smoother UX.

- Flow Management Platform is used to configure and monitor the Server. It is C++/Qt. It has become quite clunky as features have been added over time and could use a redesign of the UX.

Combining them would make the flow involve just one app. On top of those things, there are some big convenience features that would really help:

- Sensor discovery whether sensor is in static or dynamic mode. We are not certain this is possible and it would require sensor changes but we think security cameras do this.

- Sensor configuration and firmware update from the app. This currently requires going to each sensor's web page and manually configuring.

- A walkthrough/wizard to help move through the whole flow.

The project:

A web based application that aims to help product development teams organize, analyze and structure their product features.

Skills needed:

• 4+ years of UI/UX experience 
• English - b2+
• Experience building SaaS products (not ecommerce, not blogs) and web design (not mobile design).

Specific tasks will be to create lo-fidelity and hi-fidelity designs that engineers will then build. 

In addition, this person should be comfortable working in an Agile environment with standard Devops tools such as Jira, Figma and Slack.

• Рассмотреть существующий прототип и предложить улучшения в соответствии с лучшими практиками.
• Продумать цветовое решение интерфейса.
• Создать набор CSS-стилей для типовых страниц интерфейса.
• Создать финальную версию прототипа с учетом согласованных улучшений.

— Опыт работы в банковском секторе;
